Album - The Early Daze (1993 - 1996)

I say early daze because it is true, no matter how unoriginal it sounds. My childhood really was a daze. While other kids were out playing sports and socializing I was either watching cartoons or drawing them. Nearly ever hour of the day was spent either sitting at my desk or in front of the TV. While in the real world I had maybe three actual friends I hung out with outside of school, in the fictional world I had nearly a dozen. Carmel Cat, Finder Fox, Michael Mouse, Stupid, Cartoon Ryan, ect. were a bigger part of my life than anyone in the real world. Some cartoons; like Fisher, Chandler, and Face; I actually pretended were talking to me right off of the paper and I'd draw every emotion they felt. With the help of miscellaneous cartoon "hands" I would torment them with bombs, dynamite, anvils, and other ACME gags.

The artwork is crude but, considering my age, decent. Unlike now, it was about quantity and not quality—the true animator way. It is hard for me to believe that at one time I actually enjoyed drawing. Who knows, if I hadn't reached puberty I may have become a modern day Chuck Jones.
